We warmly welcome you to our school and look forward to working with you in the growth and development of your children. We believe that the learning relationships between the teacher, student and family needs to be strong. We want every child to have positive and successful learning experiences. We demonstrate the beliefs of our learning community by all students having: Voice– Everyone has a voice that can change the way things are. Action – Learners make a difference. School Update
We're currently experiencing some surface flooding on the school field, and a tree has fallen over near the swings.
Everyone is safe, and the affected areas are near the field and swings.
For safety reasons, please come and collect your child(ren) early today.
Thank you for your understanding.

Kia ora koutou,
Following my safety assessment this morning, I can confirm there is no surface flooding around the school and very little wind damage; therefore, Windley School will be open today.
However, if you have any concerns about your child attending school today—especially regarding travel—please email or call the school as usual to notify us of their absence.
We are aware that some schools in our region may have decided to close. Each school makes its own decision based on its specific circumstances, and we maintain good lines of communication with them regarding their status. Please follow the instructions provided by the school(s) your children attend, as these may differ from ours.
Stay safe

Kia ora Windley School whānau,
From now until the end of the Term 2 holidays, SolPro Painters will be onsite carrying out exterior painting work around the school.
Please take extra care when entering and leaving the school grounds, as there may be equipment, barriers, and wet paint in some areas. We ask that everyone follows signage and keeps clear of work zones where possible.
Thank you for your patience, support, and cooperation while we complete these improvements to our kura.

Kia ora koutou,
This is a friendly reminder that all class and individual photos are available for viewing and purchasing online.
An email with your child’s keycode was sent out on 17th April. If you did not receive this, it may be because we do not have an email address on file for you.
Please contact the school office by phone or message, and we will be happy to assist.
Ngā mihi
Kia ora koutou,
